Cruz de Mogán

The Cruz de Mogán is in an important fork of roads for the hikers of the Island where they can sit and rest for a while under the protection of the cliffs of Mogán. Also known as Cruz de la Fortaleza, its location dates back to 1899 when it was ordered to be built on the top of that mountain by the wife of Don Miguel Marrero upon his death, and every year he ordered that they climb up to frame her for the feast of the Day de la Cruz, May 3.
